Day 3 and 4| Catch up
22-23 Nov. 2025
Failed to make an entry yesterday because I was exhausted from battling the commute from the vet to home while carrying a 4.3 kg dog in a carrier. So I’ll write for these past two days to catch up.
I realized again how unfriendly to commuters the Magsaysay Avenue has become. I waited more than an hour just to see one passenger jeepney that was already full to capacity pass by, breaking the almost endless flow of private vehicles of different types using the busy street.
Had to wait for almost three hours on the street before I managed to flag an e-trike to take us to the city business center where I still had to walk a little distance and wait several more minutes to get a pedicab that finally took us home.
Naga has become such a hard commute. Magsaysay is supposed to be only a 15-minute journey from our house.
Today, we had an early celebration of my sister’s birthday. She was supposed to leave for Vinzons but opted to stay because she finished late with the laundry.
She got so much cake that I think the leftovers will last us well into the week. I gave her the dress I ordered online months ago. It fit her perfectly.
I also continued my embroidery project while gossiping and planning on the phone with my friend J. She finally has a bit of time for herself to help us with some of our ventures in Pasacao. I found that talking while busy with my hands made the ideas flow better. Now we have three more projects to flesh out for the town.
She informed me that she is going to meet with the woman who will help us find funding for some of the Mayor’s projects tomorrow. I also have a meeting scheduled this Wednesday.
There’s a storm coming that might affect Bicol this week. It will be called “Verbena” like the plant.
I started some more drafts on the website but I’m just too sleepy now.
