Day 5 | Rainy

It’s been raining most of the day and night. “Verbena” will be crossing the Visayas tomorrow but it’s still dumping rains in Bicol until Wednesday, according to the state weather bureau.

Classes in Albay, Sorsogon and Camarines Sur are all suspended tomorrow and people are preparing to ride out the storm. I hope it doesn’t rain too much that we experience flooding again. This house is old that water enters from the ceiling and, in the case of my room, the part where the wall meets the floor. It’s why I don’t have much stuff in my room. I don’t even have a proper bed there because I know it could get wet too should another massive storm hits us.

I’m starting on a lot of projects at the same time. I am doing my best to keep at it and stick with all of it. That’s my flaw really. I have commitment issues. Once it gets too easy or boring, I lose interest. It’s probably the reason why I didn’t like school very much.

In order to prevent losing interest, I’m doing embroidery as a form of break from the typing. I also do some cleaning in between readings.

I can’t talk much about the projects I’m working on here because they are yet to be born. All I can say is that I love the creative freedom I am enjoying now under this very supportive and kind boss. I never had this before from my former jobs and bosses. I’m deeply thankful to all the roads and moments that led me here.

Despite the decrease in income, I’m still grateful. Additional income can be had when needed. The Universe always provides for me.
